This is a follow-up to my previous filler article.
Copilot+PC leverages the built-in NPU to perform AI processing locally, offering the advantages of faster response times and immunity to cloud service congestion compared to using Copilot via the cloud… or so they say.
In practice, my PC handles local calculations smoothly, so the drawing game from last time returns results in just 30 seconds or so.When I tried the same prompt with the cloud AI, it took about two minutes to slowly process and respond, so I could see there’s a significant difference in speed.
However, here’s the catch.
The cloud Copilot produces significantly higher-quality drawings. To be precise, it’s higher-quality in some cases. Compare the results from using the exact same prompt as last time. To make it clearer, I’ve included the same images from last time, though I apologize for the repetition…
The original image I wanted to replicate.
Finally,this is Cloud Copilot’s work.

This is like the difference between ”special student“ and ”no talent” on “PREBATO TV program”. Cloud Copilot, you definitely didn’t do this on your own—you must have cheated! Be honest! Well, at least the bridge shape is more accurate on Local Copilot.
So, it’s clear that Local one is faster at work but can’t match Cloud one in terms of quality. Maybe with more experience, the gap will narrow over time? I don’t know.
By the way, I also tried the other two questions from the previous article, but there wasn’t much difference in the quality of the drawings.
