I am at the Jindai Botanical Park in Chofu. After taking photos of the wisteria trellis and azalea garden in full bloom, I am now casually taking photos of whatever catches my eye on my way home.
Although the flowers are past their peak, the dogwood trees stand proudly in the fresh greenery.
This is the kind of scenery that makes you feel the word ‘refreshing’ is the perfect description.
Spring roses season is coming, but these yellow mock orange flowers were already in full bloom.
I don’t know much about flowers, so I didn’t recognize it at first glance, but it’s apparently an old variety of rose called an ‘old rose.’
This, on the other hand, is a button flower at the end of its season.
Someone commented that it looks like a flower painting on the wall of a Chinese restaurant. That’s a clever observation.
These flowers were planted not in the park but in the front yard. Since the Dragon Boat Festival was approaching, I think they might be iris flowers.
This one too. Using the same reasoning, I think the yellow flower in the foreground is probably iris (not very confident).
So, these are just photos I took while walking around, snapping whatever flowers caught my eye. I didn’t put much thought into them, but I think that just because it’s this time of year and the flowers are beautiful, people will look at them kindly and forgive me. I hope so, anyway.
