Keikyu line walk: Keikyu Nagasawa

We have arrived at Keikyu Nagasawa Station. This is where we will start our photo walk.

The station has an island-type platform with two tracks, with a double-track section from here for the downbound direction to Tsukuihama and a single-track section for the upbound direction to YRP Nobi.

Upon exiting the station, there is a large space (rotary and bicycle parking lot) in front of the station. At this time, there was unexpectedly an opening for a shared bicycle, and I was thinking of walking from here to the neighboring Tsukuihama while taking pictures, so I wondered for a few shun whether I should rent it or not.
I checked and found that it was not possible to drop off the car near Tsukuihama station, so I decided to abandon the idea of renting a car and walk as originally planned.

*If you go further from Tsukuihama to Miura Beach or Misakiguchi, the shared cycle service is very popular among tourists, and reservations are not easy to get and there seems to be no availability on the day. Keikyu Nagasawa may possibly be a good spot.

From the station to the mountain side, there seems to be a climbing/hiking path.

Climbing the mountain in the fresh green looks quite attractive, but today we will take the sea side path.
A small park near the station. It is a vacation, but there are no people here, probably because it is the middle of a major holiday weekend.

This poster is unique to Yokosuka at the gate of a house. I dare to make no comment.

After a few minutes of walking, the ocean came into view. That’s how it should be.

The view is unquestionable, looking out over the fishing port to the Boso Peninsula.

It is hard to resist this view of open blue sky and sea, so we decide to simply continue walking along the seaside path toward Tsukuihama.

The scenery gradually changes from a fishing port surrounded by breakwaters to a sandy beach dotted with vanishing wave blocks, and anglers can be seen here and there.

The direction has changed from the photo of the fishing port up↑, and what you see in the back is the tip of the Miura Peninsula.

Walking along the seashore under the fine weather. It is the best.
My photo walks tend to be rather unlucky in terms of weather, but this time I am making up for it. I am grateful for that.

Let’s continue along the coast to the next station, Tsukuihama.

Equipment used this time: K-3III, DA20-40
