From the window of a business hotel in Kyobashi, Osaka, I could see a beautiful sunset, so I took a picture with my LUMIX GF10 that I had brought along. That’s all there is to it.
But honestly, it was so beautiful that I felt like writing a filler article just to post it.
Changed the angle slightly and took one more in landscape orientation. Please overlook any flares or ghosting—they’re part of the artistic effect.
It had been a long time since I’d seen a proper sunset like this. It’s nothing special, but seeing the late summer twilight made me feel like I’d gained something.
By the way, here’s the evening view taken from the same window after sunset.
Shooting handheld with the tiny GF10 and kit zoom makes it tough when it gets dark, but it should just about be watchable for viewing on the blog.
I was feeling a bit worn out from the unexpected stay in Osaka, but the hotel that night was one of my regular haunts for business trips there. It was relaxing, and the premium sunset and night views put me in a good mood.
That’s all from the scene.
