While out testing the OLYMPUS M.ZUIKO 12-100mm F4 IS PRO lens, I stopped by the Shinagawa Hana-Kaido flower path in Samezu to photograph the rapeseed flowers just starting to bloom. I’ll upload a few shots here.
Here, you can enjoy the scenery of the Katsushima Canal, dotted with fishing boats, alongside the rapeseed flower fields created through the volunteer efforts of local residents.
The yellow flowers stand out beautifully in the afternoon sunlight.
Alongside various original “scarecrows” crafted by local hands.
I wonder if scarecrows actually serve a practical purpose like keeping crows away? But…
The M.ZUIKO 12-200mm is quite a “close-up lens,” so it can capture expressions like this.
Looking at it this way,
this lens not only delivers sharpness but also handles the fluffy texture of the rapeseed flowers quite skillfully. My expectations keep growing. Why didn’t I get this sooner?
