So I’m taking a walk around the Iida Line.
After visiting Tenryu-kyo, Tamoto, and Kowada, I headed north to Iida and stayed the night.
I was excited and left on the first train up at 6:19AM.
I arrived at Iida Station, but even at the beginning of December, it’s still pitch dark at 6 in the morning.
I’m the king of camera shake, who hates using slow shutter speeds, and I’m using a Micro Four Thirds camera, which doesn’t do well with high sensitivity. I tried my best, but this is the best I could do.
And what on earth is this appeal from the station? I feel like I shouldn’t think about it too deeply.
The eastern sky is gradually getting lighter.
I could see the lights on the down line platform of the station clearly, so I took a quick trip to get a shot while I was waiting.
I managed to get a shot that looks unnecessarily dramatic.
And then the first train pulled in.
Well, this time it’s a “interlude” between visiting spectacular scenery and visiting remote stations, so I’ll stop here for now.
I’ll save some space and “save up” a bit, and next time
I’ll talk about how I made a bit of a blunder when I got on the first train and headed for one of the hidden gem stations, Nakai-Samurai.
